This is my submission for the Spooky Tune Jam 2024, where the theme was Creature Feature. For my submission, I focused on Frankenstein's Monster as my creature feature.

For this piece I wanted to try to focus on two aspects of the monster: as a creature that terrorizes his creator as well as a tragic character failing to endear himself to people in the new world around him. To do this, I chose to use a classical instrumentation like those that might be heard in the older Frankenstein films. Within the piece itself, I incorporated sections of dissonance and slower, brooding melodies and sections with brighter harmony as well.
